Can someone direct me to the save game location for Ishar 1. I can save and load in game just fine but I can not locate the .sav file anywhere.

That's interesting, I have my .sav file in my Ishar - Legend of the Fortress folder.
Maybe try sorting your files by date? The save files will be among the newest ones.

I do not have the game installed at the moment, but when I do it will be something that I check into as well.

Thanks to all of you - However there is no .sav file in the Ishar folder and running a search on the *.sav yields nothing. This is real odd. Could Vista be hiding it somewhere?

As I said It is probably in the virtual store.
so that would be c:\users\your_username\appData\Local\VirtualStore

Thanks Qbix pointing me to its location was what I needed. Funny that a search does not look there.

If you were running the default Windows search, I suppose it didn't find the file because it is in a hidden folder.
