Creating a party and playing the game seems to crash and shuts itself down - is this common?

The game will start, I can get part the way around the village and then the screen just shuts down and that's it.
The game looks good and I'd like to play it, can anyone advise?

Have you tried contacting the support team yet? They are quite helpful and knowledgable, so I think you should ask them if you haven't so far.

Currently I´m playing Ishar III and I´m having random crashes. It looks like game bugs. In my case always appears a message in french 'Erreur' filling progresively all the screen.
In addition to these random crashes I had have the next problem:
I´ve started the game in several ways:
"Solo", creating a party, importing a party from Ishar I & Ishar II and the only "big problem" I´ve found is that when you import a party from a previous Ishar your magic users LOST all the spells they know.
any help?
