The game was never any good. It wasn't good when it came out, and it certainly isn't good now either. This is just another example of how GOG is trying to push us with whatever games they can get their hands on (maybe they should move away from the weekly model? I'll take quality over quantity. And I'd rather not have the GOG team waste their time making lame crap like this into DRM free. No one with a shred of sanity would care for this). I read antihippie's review and it was spot on. Paying for this game would be a great disservice to you.

Remember that the main rule over here is - you don't like it - don't buy it...
Well, it's at least not some of the team's opinion...and there are some members which disagree as well, so thats good enough for me. Of course, I don't think I can defend Kingdom at all..haha..
Different strokes for different folks. I honestly never understand these arguments obviously some people are playing and enjoying this. I'm personally not sold on it yet but that doesn't mean I would complain about GOG carrying it.
There is no "argument," Delekhan. The OP is just another arrogant young narcissist who thinks his opinion is the same as cold, hard fact (and who thinks being cynical makes him appear sophisticated to the other kids). Iron Storm is a decent game and a perfect example of the type of game GOG should be providing.
You don't like the game then don't buy it and let GOG put up whatever the hell they want. State your opinion of the game and move on. There are plenty of games I don't find to my taste but I just avoid them and buy the ones I like and move on instead of littering my thoughts and the forums about them.

Why all the hostility towards the OP? He asked a fair question. It's not a matter of thinking that everyone else suck balls or have shitty taste.
I could equally ask the same question to someone that thought a game that I considered bad was good. Why? What are the redeeming qualities?
Is it too much to ask of people, to have them motivate whatever opinion they may hold?
What's wrong with the game? I never played it past the demo, would have got it if back then i had my own income. So my opinion is TBH as valuable as OP's jaded ramblings.
I liked the premise of the story WW1 not ending and such. Also the gameplay was on par with what was out at the time wasn't among the best though IIRC.
Answer the question on everybodies lips (keyboard lol!) What make it ineligible to be on this site?
To me my only point i'd have is wondering if it's considered OLD enough for Good OLD Games. Then again I was a teen when it came out I think and i haven't visited this site enough to know what GoG's criteria actually is.
From some reviews I've reads so far for Iron Storm. Apparently the game is too hard? Well... A good portion of games back in the day where hard. The easy ones back then where also as challenging as the ones considered difficult now. They where hard because they had to be. Not many developers had the means to prolong playability by spoon feeding retards DLC packs they will polish off in an hour. If they didn't want people finishing the game in one sitting (your average sitting mind you) they had to make it challenging or just plain hard. High difficulty is no reason to brand the game shit...
TL:DR
Simple case of Opinion != Fact. Hard != Bad (unless you are).

No, really it is just bad. The style is interesting enough and the production values are solid but the gameplay is bland at best. I have distinctive memories of being stuck in trenches because the enemy snipers would get instant head shots if I so much as poked my head above the ridge line. It was more than a little frustrating... especially seeing as the rest of the game was a pushover.
Still, there's no problem with GoG stocking it. Someone will buy it I'm sure.
I bought it during a promo as I think $9.99 is too much, but I don't regret buying it.
There's some nice scenery changes over the levels.
Although rather hard, especially due to enemy snipers and rocketeers, I enjoyed it enough to finish it.
IMO the levels in the trenches and in the train are the best, but the others are good too.
It's a nice shooter and a bit different than most, worth buying IMO.
If you think it's a bad game, simply because it's hard, than it's your loss.
To me the biggest disappointment was the ending.
I liked this game when it come out but there were come serious bugs that kept me from completing this game. I really hope this game comes fully patched by default. If not idk if I could recommend this game to anyone.

All GOG games are patched to the latest official patch.
I bought it here and finished it, never encountering any bug.
It's kind of sad that the major complaint about the game seems to be that it is hard.

Yeah, it's hard. But it's far from impossible at least until level 4 where you're inexplicably faced with enemies that look just like the other enemies in the game except that they are apparently invulnerable to harm. Seriously. I'm in the factory right now and I'm stuck because there's this group of enemies bunched into a hallway I need to get through that are not killed by anything. I finally resorted to cheating but it's still not enough because the only cheats are health ammo and nades and what I need is to be invulnerable so I don't have to kill the invulnerable enemies to keep them from slaughtering me.

The only time I've managed to make any progress at all is when I've used the tear gas grenades on them to mess up their aim at which point I can randomly succeed in getting past them based on whether they fire when their aim swings wildly over me. Then I'm faced with another invulnerable enemy that kills me the moment I make it to the door I need to get through to get to safety.

At what point is that?
There are a few hard points in the factory.
Is this before or after you take the elevator to the lower levels?
After. I never encountered invincible enemies before that.

Right when

[spoiler]

The glass in the holding cell gets shot out by the guard trying to kill the escaped prisoner. Said guard dies and then two more come in who are invincible. If the alarm gets set off again then more invincible guards come.
