I'm having a lot of trouble with the Bounty Hunter boss on floor 3.
He is, in my opinion, the most unfair boss I've fought so far.
First off, his spawns get bonus block and wards. Crossbowmen on GoW are supposed to have 2 armor and no wards. His crossbowman spawned with 4 armor and 2 wards.
He has a 50% redirect that acts more like a 75% because of how often it procs.
He gets two actions a turn that deal a lot of damage and each action gives him a charge for an AoE that you can't reliably dispel without mana because of the redirect.
Stress damage is unreliable because of the RNG, physical damage is unreliable because of the obscene blocks and wards the ads get, you can't kill the boss without killing the ads and the ads also deal absurd amounts of damage.
I just don't understand the strategy for him, he is so RNG dependent and over tooled. Giving him the ability to spawn minions is bad enough, but do they really need so many blocks and wards? Does he need a redirect on top of that that seems to proc more than 50% of the time?
Edit : Ok so I finally beat him with stress; RNG finally stopped being annoying, but I lost a good minions and parts in the process. My point still stands, he's not fairly designed and I don't see an efficient way of beating him without delving into lame cheese strats or taking a tailored team.
I also looked at his journal entry, and there is literally nothing about passively buffing allies. The ads get bonus damage, luck, blocks and wards for literally no reason, what's up with that? Is that some sort of bug?
