Mighty.Duck: I'm willing to stand by Voidpoint on this, no matter their decision.
Except it was 3DRealms that caved, made apology and, apparently, urged censorship. So if anything, refund/boycotte actually helped voidpoint to preserve their original vision of the game.

To those of you who gave this game 1 star reviews due to censorship, please reconsider your review, and give 3D Realms Ion Fury a fair shake. They are not caving to SJW pressure and this decision should be rewarded, not punished. Just say no to censorship.

They want money, power, and attention for their special little groups. That's all its ever been about.

Fake news. The soap stays, but the secret area got censored; together with another apology, saying the programmer was from another country and didn't know the meaning of the word.

Glad i resisted buying it, even AFTER the announcement. Glad to have listened to old Voidpoint twit from way back; "EFF politics and just GET our game!". Which is what i did. And what i am going to do? Donate my 20 buck bill, through E-duke32, straight to VOIDPOINT. Those are the gamerbros. Right there.

If the removed material actually impacted gameplay, I could understand some outrage, but removing a joke. which I understand might have been snuck in without permission by a employee that insulted a potential customer base does not worry me.
