Id really love the option to change the refresh rate ingame, i do it outside and the reason why i dont keep it at 144 hz constantly is because i got 2 monitors with different rates, and in desktop its inefficient to have it that way, so i keep them both at 60hz on desktop, but 144 hz ingame.

So yeah, having that option would save me the effort of changing it in the control panel every time i wanna play the game properly.

Can you change it in the
Options>Display Setup>VIdeo Mode
screen?

I only have one 144hz screen currently, but I do have a spare 60 hz monitor I can test with to see if the same thing happens . I just need to dig it out. Ill try it when I can.

Can you save the 144 Hz setting against a profile for the game, or use something like nvidia Inspector or MSI Afterburner to change it for you automatically? I've never had the need to try to do this myself but these would be the first things I'd look to try.

Could potentially, but i don't use any of them, which is why its sort of a request that would be a nice addition to the options to be able to select refresh rate.

To the extent that i am aware of, no.

Back home now so I've just checked my Nvidia Control Panel settings. I don't exactly have the latest up to date drivers but it should still be pretty much the same (if not exactly) options. Going into "Manage 3D settings" you can select a program (game executable) or add one if it isn't in the list already. Then you can tweak the settings against it. There is one for "Preferred refresh rate" so just change this to "highest available" instead of "Use global setting". So I'd say try this out and see if it works. At least it would save you having to keep doing it manually each time.

Nvidia Inspector does the same but you get to see more options and in greater detail.

I am aware of that setting and i have tried it, did not bump up the refresh rate.

It seems it used to work this way but not anymore, just had a quick glance on google. (tldr it does not exceed desktop refresh rate)

Oh well, it was worth a try. I'd hope that the other applications, Nvidia Inspector and MSI Afterburner, would still be able to do it though.
