Am I the only one getting nauseous from playing Ion Madien? I don't get nauseous when playing Doom, Blood Dragon, or any other FPS.

It only happens when I play Ion Madien. If it's just me, feel free to ignore my comment but if it's affecting others it would be nice if the developers could look into why it's happening to begin with.

Great game by the way, I love it despite the "side effect."

You should compare it to other Build engine games, like Duke Nukem 3D and the original Shadow Warrior and see if they have the same effect on you. There is a setting within the game, by the way, that allows you to turn on a true 3D mode. Change the renderer from Classic (which renders the game how the original Build engine games were, with a slightly off 3D appearance when looking up and down) to OpenGL.

Thanks for the tips, I'll give them a try.
If you are still having trouble with this, I had a similar issue with the newer wolfenstein games, issue was "head bobbing". There's a config option to disable it.

This is from the Dev's back in March:
"Open the "settings.cfg" file in the game's directory with any text editor and add this line to disable the view bobbing:

cl_viewbob "0"

You can find the game's directory by right clicking on the game's name in your Steam list, clicking on Properties, then clicking the "Browse Local Files..." button in the "Local Files" tab."

Maybe they have/will add an easier fix in the full release.
You don't need to edit config files - game has a console (open with shift-~) where you can just enter cl_viewbob 0 and it works instantly

100% motion sickness removal would also need working cl_weaponsway setting, which unfortunately doesn't change anything AFAICT. Probably a bug :/
I've always found I get motion sickness from Build games if I've played for too long, I'm normally ok to play for a good solid 3 hours or so though

You could always try the FOV slider in Ion Fury? Though I try to keep it at the default 90 as 120fov can make the center look kind of off
I use fov 105, doesn't look distorted, but helps tremendously.
