all I can say Is I was trying to run it from a system that has

and the game is pretty choppy for me regardless on software or on openGL on any resolution.. and no matter what setting I use.. Ive gone as low as 800x600 and as High as 4k but theirs no setting where I dont experience some of choppiness. the first place i notice it is right at the start of the preview campaign going out into the garage thingy.. it lasts most of that area and gets choppy any time Im outside. the 2nt zone where your in the swear like place seemed to be the "fastest" area.. the most choppy was during the fight with the mech.

frame rate will get below 30fps pretty frequently in this game..

Well, i think the combination of the SSD with the AMD Eight Core is the bottleneck.
That processor is good for all, except gaming.
You should switch over a amd ryzen...
Also the "16 GB ram" must not be as good as it sounds.
When u have some slow ram inside your machine, then every game will run below 30 fps.
This machine looks like a low budget pc.

This game is still in development at the time of this post. I would wait for more updates to be released to help out with the choppiness.
