What display settings should I use for the best performance on my old laptop? Any suggestions?

Anyone? What settings should I use? My laptop can't handle this game with normal settings. :(

I tried 640x480 and No OpenGL, but it's still unplayable. My laptop is 4-5 years old with 8GB RAM and SSD. I wanna play this!

I think you should use OpenGL since software mode is using CPU, as far as I know. Also maybe turn of voxels. Beyond that, no idea. I guess your GPU is pretty crappy, no offense.
