I concur, infact iam not going to buy the Game unless there is any kind of Coop or Multiplayer added.

I mean this is 3D Realms as Publisher we are talking about, the Build engine is their in-House Engine they worked with for Years. They should know how to give proper assistance to Void Point and should be easily capable of adding proper Netcode and by further extend even Bots. And dont tell me its too Expensive of a Feature to add.... ITS A BUILD ENGINE GAME!

Being Singleplayer only is a disgrace. Every Game is better with Friends.
