I am trying to purchase Aftershock here. However, it will not let me purchase because I didn't purchase Ion Fury through GOG. Instead I purchased the Big-Box Founder's Edition of Ion Fury. I still have my receipt which shows I paid $117.14 for it.

The founders edition contained a DRM-free copy of Ion Fury, which I played. I want to purchase Aftershock on GOG to get a DRM-free copy of that as well.

I reached out to 3D Realms (with my Ion Fury receipt) and they simply said, "We are looking into what can be done for people in similar situations. Aftershock requires Ion Fury 3.0. As soon as we have a solution, we will make a public announcement. "

Given that it's been 1.5 months since Aftershock released, I'm not super hopeful that they will magically come up with a solution here. This seems like a bad way to treat loyal customers who tried to support Ion Fury as much as possible early on. Seems like the solution should just be to give anyone who can prove they purchased a big-box edition of Ion Fury and wants to purchase Aftershock a GOG key. Or at least they could have given some sort of timeline for a resolution rather than "wait and see".

I'm posting this partly to vent and partly because I know the Voidpoint devs sometimes check this forum - maybe one of them can help here?
