That is correct.

I'm so freaking ready for this.

Well, I was too but it seems that release date only applied to Steam. Aftershock is now out over there but not here which is really annoying. Certainly won't buy the main game again on Steam just to be able to play the DLC.
It is apparently coming "Later" this week from a post over in the 3DR discord server.

Ah, glad to hear that, thanks for the info!

Wouldn't be 3D Realms if there wasn't one final delay happening somewhere.

That f***ing sucks...
Sucks enough to learn that buying it here was a mistake, apparently, but whatever the reason for the delay, I would have loved to know it was fucking delayed from 3Drealms on the page I was expecting to buy it from instead of hgaving to dig through the forum for some random chatter to announce what 3drealms should have disclosed publicly.
A post over here indicates 3DR aren't even properly supporting their own version of the game:
Will there also be a version for those who bought the 3DR release? It seems on the website they are redirecting you to Steam and/or GOG, even for the original game. Which isn't exactly encouraging.

uh pretty sure they are from what it seems. went on the main website and clicked the 3DR button and it brings you straight to a 404 https://3drealms.com/catalog/ion-maiden_56/

and this change seems recent as well with the last archived page on the wayback machine being on june 21st

I have seen some along with myself asking for claification on the matter of the GOG release. Nothing but radio silence on that front seems like it is actively ignored other than the vague message (That's what it feels like). This has been repeated more than once "GOG and Epic releases will come later this week." So I guess it is what it is...

Absolutely ridiculous that they couldn't time this release together. Absolutely refuse to believe that it couldn't be done (other publishers have a fine time timing their releases across platforms).

yeah i hate doing the armchair game dev thing but honestly what is stopping them from dropping it now? like i can even think of an actual reason. i mean the steam version is the exact same thing to the GOG version (minus the drm stuff ofc but i cant think thats whats delaying it) its just the same files on a different store front
When is this thing going to be ready on GOG store, Steam's already selling it.
