Just a thought - this game can be relatively easily turned into card / tabletop game with miniatures.

Interesting. Two-player I presume?
Because that could be an interesting asymmetric game, one player has lots of respawns and extra units and only have to show their hand one turn in advance, the other player has no respawns, a tiny amount of units, but they're far stronger.
