Anyone know how to get Interstate 76 to play in windowed mode? (Non Glide/D3D)
I remember back in the day there was a splash screen where you could choose this from. Normal, Window, 3DFX, or Direct 3D.
I've tried alt-enter and adding -window to the shortcut with neither having any results.
You want the "\Program Files\GOG.com\Interstate 76 Arsenal\interstate 76" folder, then Splash.exe
That should do it.
splash.exe, really? When I use it, it just sends me to that install prompt. It acts like the game wasn't installed.
With the latest DxWnd update, the hook is working on i76.exe now which means that it's possible to make the game windowed with it. (for those who don't want only to play the Glide version which looks different... the software renderer has its own unique charm...)

Attached is my DxWnd config file for you to try, you have only to change the path to the game clicking on Modify to change it.

I also uploaded a copy of the executable files for my game patched up, no game copyrighted assets here, so this link does not contain piracy material, it's only the executables and files in the game's root directory (no music, no maps, no graphics in this)
Given the "nightmare" that it is to get this game running, this should provide an easier kickstart for people that want to enjoy the game hassle-free.
