Do you know if there is a way to mod the game so the target box and enemy damge meter are transparent or not drawn? I think those ruin the picture. They display and function normally in my game. It is only that I would rather not see them in the picture.

I'76 or I'82?

I know in I'76 you can turn off the HUD from the settings. I'82 I have not played, so wouldn't be able to suggest anything there.
Thank you for making a reply. It is I'76, Gold. It plays in Glide and Direct3D on my desktop PC.

I do not see anything for switching off the target box or the enemy damage meter. Switching off the external insutrment display functions properly, but the setting does not affect the display of the target box or damage meter. In the graphics settings, my game lists these options, by the way:

1. Screen Resolution
2. Monitor Brightness
3.
4. Visibility Range
5. Clouds
6. Horizon Textures
7. Terrain Textures
8. Terrain Resolution
9.
10. Terrain Detail
11. Object Detail
12. Shadow Detail
13. Ext. Instrum. Disp.
14. Rear Mirror

Maybe those numbers do not mean anything. Just part of the order ticket background, I guess. I mean are #3 and #9 blank just because of that and the way the options are grouped, or is something missing from my selections?
I think that menu listing is good, but I misunderstood your original question. I thought that you were referring to the HUD/radar system (option #13).

The only other idea I have is to check the configuration file. Sometimes, there are options listed in there that the configuration menus don't list, like in Zoo Tycoon and the fancy mouse cursor.

Sorry I couldn't have been of more help.
