I was personally exposed to the unofficial one that the music artist arion salazar/bullmark posted on his website a long time ago before I actually bought the game.
I hope this "unofficial b-side" edition gets released on GOG too.

I remember reading about the "B-side" stuff but never knew it was released officially or unofficially other than the little bit that was on the official soundtrack. Do you happen to recall the format/quality he released the tracks in? I would love to hear those.

Joq: The game (and the addon) music tracks are provided as 192k mp3 files. Still no proper soundtrack album, though.

Yeah, all the songs are located in the \music directory as mp3s

nice, thx a bunch!
Are all the dialogue files mp3 as well? The poems and the infamous CHILDREN ARE BURNING audio are priceless.

Amazing stuff. Almost as much of a treasure as the game itself. Myself and fellow funk fanatics salute you, sir!
@ martynpie: the dialogue files are wav files. They can be found in the I76.ZFS archive in the main install directory. Extracting those files (with a tool called Dragon unpacker) will probably lead to corrupted .wav's. Either some data is lost in the extraction process, or the wav's themselves are compressed.
Anyway, using the .ZFS files from the GOG release to get the dialogues didn't work for me. All extracted wav files were corrupted. They do work ingame, the game's engine knows how to address the files in the .ZFS archive properly.
Extracting all the dialogues directly from the .ZFS archive on the original disc did work somehow. Including the priceless 'Children are burning'.
Get it here
