AMD Phenom X4 940 Processor 3.2 (or 3.0, I forget)
I have Windows 7 64
4 gigs of ram
ATI Radeon 4870
I have that same problem. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Also, how do you get the glide-version to work? Just gives me an error message and crashes when I try it.

Try adding -glide or -d3d into your shortcuts. Fixed the problem for me. Glide offers better graphics too so I'd go with that if possible.

Yup in the same boat here. And was not expecting to have this problem with a game from GoG.
Had a similar problem with running Theme hospital on this machine.
EDIT: Cheers for the help Prydeless

I tried this. It says failed to initialize 3D hardware acceleration and crashes. Same thing with both -glide and -d3d.

This will get rid of that.
please fix the gfgjdfgj349gjqerpogjke'gkv'erkv34ffdfgfgpphsdhhhopgf
thanks :) will try it when i get home
Didn't work :(
As above, I found that adding the -glide option to the shortcut command line worked for me. It can get a bit choppy at the start of a mission, but the textures are a lot better.
In software mode, I had the wierd color problem, and THIS actually fixed it, found on another game section on this board... I was amazed it worked, but now is running great at 1024x768, totally smooth, and proper colors... wierd!
"For messed up colours apparently if you right click on your desktop and then open up the screen resolution window and just leave that open in the background when playing games it for some random reason fixes colour issues. Not sure if it will work for this game but it has worked for at least 2 others. "
And this is not my fix, just found it in another thread. Was posted by Ralackk
EDIT:
Ok, further testing, and this does work great, but also I set compatibility mode to Windows 95, and clicked disable desktop composition and disable visual themes. Also clicked run as administrator. This, along with having the above mentioned screen res window open on the desktop before I launch the game, I can play @ 1024x768 in windows 7 64bit in software mode just fine. Runs great. Good luck!

I had the same problem. All I had to do to fix it was set compatibility for 98/Me and disable visual themes and desktop composition. I didn't need to run it in Admin mode, or have the screen res window open on the desktop.
I haven't tried the glide or d3d versions though.
Yeah I tried all these and it won't work. :( I just sent an email asking for a refund. I'll buy it again when it works.

Most likely the 8bit color issue with Vista/7.
Only "fix" right now is to end explorer.exe before starting the game.

Yes this worked for me too, but the problem is that I'm playing the game with a logitech g25 wheel, and it starts to act weird when I enable compatability
