I've beaten most of the missions for the Nitro Pack, except for Velocity. I thought that Jade's last mission was the hardest, but I'm really stumped as to how I can properly beat this mission. I know that I need to stop the rigged bus with my car, but how? Am I supposed to ram it from behind? That technique only makes the bus faster, Am I supposed to block it with my car? It only drives around me when I try. If I try to ram it to the side, there's always the danger of it exploding, Am I supposed to try to gently ram it away from the road with the ramp at the end, which it seems very eager to drive off of?

Are there any I'76 veterans here who know how to beat this mission right?
You are supposed to ram the bus head on. It's best to use a strong car for this, like the Sovereign. Move most of the armor to the front of the car and equip it with DrRadar Missiles. Lock the 4 pods so that they fire at once.

The car will get damaged when you hit the bus, but if you are lucky it will still be drivable. After the bus has stopped it's time to find Whirlwind. He will be waiting at a random spot on the map (this spot changes everytime the mission is started, although it will always be near a building). You should have enough time to find him, but sometimes you just head the wrong way and have to restart.

Good luck!
If ramming the bus is too difficult use a flamethrower. It works.
Like some people have said there are a few ways you can beat Velocity. The easiest way is to have a flamethrower and just fire it at the bus, stopping it instanstly. The second way is to ram the bus at high speed with nitrousoxide which should cause a lot of damage to the bus that it will stop. The third way is the most difficult: you have to ram the bus on its side every now and then to prevent the bus from going too fast or it will explode. Ramming the bus on its side is slow and slowly damages your weapons and your car parts if it goes on for too long. The other thing you can do is ram the vehicle at the right moment on a flat surface in order to cause a collision with another oncoming vehicle. The critical moment comes when another bus comes from the opposite direction and your goal is to have both buses ram each other. The trick here is to make sure that the bus will stop on a flat even surface as you don't want the bus to have any of its wheels leaving the ground.

Stopping the bus is one thing, but catching up to Whirlwind is a different matter. You don't want your car to be critically damaged by the time you chase him. His car will drive decently fast to evade you, if he gets too far from your view he will disappear from radar which causes you to lose the mission.
