Already sent a message about it to support, but I figure I'd post the problem here too!
Starting the game results in the following error.

"The application was unable to start correctly 90xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."

Now, I already did the common sense stuff, like try running it under various compatibility modes, played with the different options like "run in 640x480" ,rebooted, etc.

My system specs are:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 260u
Ram: 4GB
Video: GeForce GT 220 1GB version.

Well, I found the answer involved disabling DEP for the executable.
