So i just gave this a try on windows 10 64 bit version. Now i have had terrible history of playing this game on previous os even after i upgraded my vid card to 960 gtx i still got wobbly wheels but now in windows 10 no issues. i'm just curious if you have upgraded to 10 and checked this game out afterwards.
So far it didn't really improve it. The game won't start on Win10, and it worked fine on 7, apart from the music being loud as hell issue. I'll edit this post if I manage to get it working.

Works just fine so far on my Acer AOD257, recently upgrade to Windows 10 (32-bit)

It works, but only in software mode. Nothing I've tried so far has gotten Glide or DirectX mode working (though I've mostly focused on Glide).
fresh install windows 10 64 bit, fresh install Interstate 76

it plays with the wheel bug and slow menu in normal mode

it plays fine but locked to 640x480 in glide mode (manually added -glide on the shortcut).

Adding -d3d crashes the game.

For some reason I do not mind too much playing is such low resolution but I will post further info once I try a glide wrapper.

Also, the PLAY button in the galaxy app links to the shortcut in the game folder "Launch Interstate 76". Adding -glide there ensures that we get glide through the galaxy app too.

It all works without the wobbly wheels and such.

But the music refuses to play, which is a big part of the experience.

Im using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

It comes with nGlide, doesn't it? Just set the nGlide configurator to use a higher resolution and ignore the in-game settings. Back when I played I'76 from here on GOG, I used nGlide 1.04.
