Yep. I'm using AVG Free.

Anyone else have this? (Obviously i'm not stupid enough to think GOG was uploading viruses)

Was this in glide2x.dll? I also use AVG Free and got a warning about this particular file. E-mailed GOG directly and they said they tested the whole thing with various programs and it all checked out fine. From what I can tell this must be a false positive - there's very little info about the alleged "virus" (Win32/Heri) online other than people asking if it's a false positive.
If you happen to be using the launcher that was posted in one of the stickied threads, odds are pretty good that the CPU Grabber part of it would be falsely read as a virus. After all, CPU grabber is a program that just hogs processing power, much like a virus might.

Anything that modifies the memory of another program often show up as a virus for the same reason. Trainers are one of the most common examples of the later.

I got it when using the glide version shortcut that the GOG installer places in the start menu. Is this the same thing?
