Taking screenshots doesn't seem to show exactly how it looks but it's something like this.
How do I fix this?

There are many threads about this problem already. Check the two sticky threads in this forum, especially the one about the fan-made launcher. For many, using the launcher will fix all the issues with the game, including the rainbow colors and problems caused by fast processors including wobbly wheels and cars moving too slowly.

There is a chance you will also need to try a few different glide wrappers. This is discussed in the sticky threads as well.
