I can´t pass level 5 jump. I use nitro but can´t reach the other side.

Any help?

I haven't encountered this myself (still haven't played the GOG version of the game, although I played the original a while back) but others on the forum have had this issue and solved it by using CPU Grabber to slow down the game. The problem is that many things in the game are tied to the FPS and now modern computers can run it way faster than the original developers thought would be possible.

Check out this thread about the fan-made launcher for I'76 that fixes many problems and includes the CPU Grabber program:

It might also be informative to read this specific story from someone who had the jumping problem:

This is a tough one. You have to hit it straight on, and you have to use all of your nitrous to get across. Once you hit the construction barriers, fire off your first, then second, then third nitrous, and you should be home free.

I feel u bruh! I tried to jump this atleast 20 times. The issue is not with the game but with the CPU speed. Activision never dreamt that their game would be played on 3GHZ multi core processors.

FIX : Download the below link and install it. Run the launcher. You will get a menu along with a CPU Grabber Tool. Set it to 75. This means that 75% of ur CPU speed will be "killed" for the game. Run in Software version. U can try the Glide and 3D versions, but it did not work for me.

Once u start the game, u will notice that the car handling dynamics have completely changed. Jumped the bridge and crossed over with no issues at all.

I use Win10 Home.

All the player has to do is lighten your load of armor during the load out phase (before the mission begins).

Just install rockets and when those empty, use the hand gun to deal with the Creepers.

Use Nitrous Oxide to jettison over the bridge; once down hill and again just before hitting the ramp.

It is still not working for me. I have tried everything from taking all off to lighten the car to using the cpu grabber to every extention. Its like if the car was stopped by the jump. Some kind of suspension problem.... I have tried to find a way to simply skip this level be downloading a save file but i don't know where to put the save files....... So i am stuck and can't get anything more from this game....

Make sure you install your game with the 25fps patch. This way no cpu grabber or anything else is needed. I have written a lengthy guide on how to get the game up and running for both. Physics are working beautifully with this cap. I managed to make that same jump without nitrousoxide at all.

I know this sounds dumb but it totally happened to me once, so bare with me okay? I think it was in early 2018, I already had the 25 FPS patch, but went a few months without playing the game... When I wanted to play it again, I would have these physics problems, nothing could solve it... What fixed it was restarting the computer. Also, there's a tool out there that is capable of limiting CPU use of the game, called DxWnd, might try that one as well to prevent problems... (if the game is not running right the first tell tell sign is the clouds running too fast)

Just use Nvidia Inspector to limit the FPS to 25-30.
