Hi guys,
I've just bought my first game and waiting for the download to finish. I'm expecting a good ride for the sake of good old days.
I remember playing Interstate '82 for a long time ago and it was very fun. Hope I enjoy with I'76 too.

Hey man. From what I've played of it (in it's semi-broken state) it's a pretty sweet game, and I didn't play it back in the day so I'm not that nostalgic about it. Loving the soundtrack particularly.
Welcome. Hope you enjoy the game and stick around. :)
Oh dear, hope we see you again!
Sorry to inform you that my first game failed. :( I'm going to create a ticket but I don't think it would help..

Sorry to hear that. GOG usually responds with queries quite fast though, that whacky bunch.

They'll do whatever they can to help you out. Haven't heard of a case yet where someone couldn't eventually get their game running. Keep in mind staff don't work weekends. You may want to make a separate thread for your issue so you don't have to wait til Monday or later. The workaround thread may fix your issue.
I76 does seem to be an usually buggy release, anyway.. =/
Hope you get sorted.

Thanks for your messages. I was planning to spend Sunday playing Interstate '76, I guess it won't happen.
I created a ticket about this problem and I'll be checking the boards out for new updates about fixing bugs of this game.
I will also try to run the game under Linux with Wine. I'll see if Linux and wine can succeed what XP couldn't.
I finally made it work on XP. Installing .NET 3.5 fixed the problem. Thanks to "pantherhead" and "wierzbowski" for their suggestions.
Now I'm trying to run the game on Linux.
Let the game begin!
