1. The hiking staff says "-12% energy on flat terrain". (Or -18% for the better staff.) But there are a couple problems with this:
- Flat terrain normally costs 0 energy. Deep snow costs more than 0, making that the only way for -12% energy on flat terrain to matter, but the hiking staff doesn't reduce the energy cost of moving through deep snow.
- On the other hand, the hiking staff *does* cut the time cost of traveling over flat terrain. The tooltip text should probably be changed.
2. I just leveled up and got offered three skills that make my adventurer permanently worse. Shouldn't there be a way to reject the skills? (For reference, I'm being offered "Over the edge I", "Conserve Strength I", and "One more push". All of those apply a permanent debuff. They also apply temporary or permanent buffs, but those buffs are worth zero benefit to me.)
3. All pieces of equipment are exactly the same shape, two squares tall and one square wide. When you swap out a piece of equipment, you get stuck holding the old piece and you have to go place it in the inventory. If the new equipment came from the inventory, the old equipment should automatically go into the same space. It would save a ton of clicks.
