hi, just bought the game during the fall promo.

I started the game up and all looked okay (win XP sp3)

The funny part is this: no matter what resolution i choose i get a weird black block around my character, it is best described as a PNG that isn't transparent and thus showing balck with in the centre the character

I do have win7 64bit HP, but i mostly use my XP.
i dont expects win7 to do better on this game, cause for now it only does even worse on the games then xp does.

But i must admit this 'bug' flaw, or whatever it is , is very funny, the game ofcourse cant be played properly this way.
The large block moves along with the character ...

I havent played wit any settings yet, i just installed it and ran it without tinkering.
I will make some adjustments now, but i dont think it will help.



update: win7 doesnt have the problem
so it be a challenge to get it fixed on win xp :D

The black square bug again? It has been years since it appeared for the last time... Anyway, try to update your video card drivers and install this version of the DirectX drivers. This bug was quite common when the game was first released back in 2009, but it slowly vanished with new video card driver updates and new versions of Windows being released.
