I bought this game a few weeks ago but about 30 minutes in I realized that when in town the mouse stops and stutters EXTREMELY badly. Makes the game unplayable. Iv'e been asking around the forums but havent gotten any responses so I started my own topic.

I payed 15 bucks for this game and so far it seems I've been ripped off by being sold a faulty game. I would prefer to get the game working but if that's not possible I'm looking for a refund.

This game seems like it was made for me and I was really looking forward to playing it so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to PC gaming, where even the newest stuff can't be guaranteed to work on every single system.

The general policy is that once you've finished downloading the title, it's yours and no refunds are granted. There may have been the odd exception here and there, however.

One thing to try, and this goes for ALL GOG games (and games in general), is to uninstall the game and reinstall it somewhere other than the default C:\Program Files. For instance, all of mine go to D:\Game Files\GOG.COM\<game title>.

Next is to set the properties to "Run as administrator". You can do this by right-clicking the short-cut, selecting Properties, clicking the Compatibility tab, and checking the 'run as admin' checkbox. Er, I'm assuming Win8 is similar to Win7 in this regard.

Those two things alone solve a huge number of problems with games.

If the forum or the GOG folks aren't able to help find a solution, you could always try asking the developer: http://feedback.cinemax.cz/
Well I appreciate your suggestions but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. I have discovered however that my laptops track-pad as well as other mice don't seem to experience the same problems. I tried updating my mouse's drivers but that doesn't seem to work.

Not quite sure what to do now. This is the only game that affects my mouse so drastically.

It's a R.A.T 7 wired version btw.
I had the exact same problem.
Lowering the polling rate of the mouse fixed it for me!
