Hello guys,

Out of Curiosity I've killed Rieven d'Ardrieaux and he dropped yellow sword (Blood Moon) with + 15 - 22 % resists stats along with some other items.

Tried leaving map and then going back but stats were the same.
Do you think that stats on this "Blood Moon" are random or hard-coded?

Also seems that killing named NPCs will give you "epics" ?

Seems that no-one will attack you once you kill him (city guards or paladins)

I'm not sure about that, but it is possible that unique items (we could also call them relics) have their properties firmly set. But I don't think that it can be generally said that killing a named NPC will give you an "epic" item. There are too many named NPCs and not that many relics in the game, I believe. But I would say that the NPCs that drop a relic after they die are hard-coded just as the properties of these items. One just have to find out which NPCs drop relics when killed.
"POSSIBLE SPOILER"

For the testing purpose I've tried to kill all NPCs at ACT 1 to see what do they drop.
All except Sam Reichman and Judge Vallarian are all NPCs killable. One or two NPCs did drop also "relics" then some blue items, etc.

My alignment moved from the neutral / good to evil very quickly ;)
