lothar69: Well it could be worse. We could have auto regening hp/stam/mana bars. Would totally take the challenge out of the game. T
Yeah because drinking excessive amount of potions is the highlight of CRPGs and gives a huge challenge..

A rest ability would have been better than either in my opinion.

Fenixp: Well yes, Inquisitor pretty much skipped 12 years of RPG developement. Is it a good or a bad thing? Depends on who you ask I guess. Personally, I say mostly bad (I still love Inquisitor for whatever reason tho. The game just sort of grows on you.)
I'm still enjoying the game simply as a big fan of 2D RPGs, but I've always really disliked mass potion consumption and avoid it where I can. The way I see it is it's showing that your main character is indeed not competent enough for the task, and the only reason he's getting through the game is because he quaffs potions.

Hell, Diabolus is twice as tough as I am and he's a dog. He'd be a better choice for saving the realm or whatever the overarching plot entails in Inquisitor. I'm not too far in yet.

But I'm likewise loving inquisitor for reasons I can't fathom.
The thing that baffles me though, is that the stamina does regen, just not in a sensible way. It does it so slowly that you'd have to stay still for a very long time to completely refill it. It won't refill while you move, so you can't use the time to explore. But yet, it still regenerates in combat.
well yeah, the combat is "easy" if you rely on your sigils all the time
But imo that is not the intended design for the game, and I chose to avoid it as much as possible.
Take the high level sigils and kick some ass with AOE

I think it has an initial regeneration so that when you have items and spells that increase it it will be fast enough to make sense. However, it seems like just buying potions and use a skill that kills the enemies are more efficient.
