Hi guys, i need help because i can't reach the second act.

I've burnt the baroness and Sam Riemann, i've collected all the proofs required to burn Valarian, he left the town and reached Dragon Rock, where i fought against him and won. From here, he surrenders, comes with me, but when i come back to Jeremiah in order to burn Vallarian, i can't do anything. I don't have the suitable dialogue, and i really don't know why.

Do you have a solution ? Did i miss something or it's just a bug ?

When i won the fight against Sam Riemann, i got a bug. The entire dialogue was missing, but i still managed to torture him.

Whereafter, the guards and the sheriff attacked me without a reason, and i had to kill the Sheriff.

Those details could be important, and they lead me to think that all of this is nothing else than a bug.

Yes, you need to put Judge Vallarian into the dungeon by speaking to the Sheriff first, he won't confess to anything under torture, but you need to put someone in the dungeons before you can begin trial proceedings against any suspected heretic in every case. When arresting suspects who put up a fight before they surrender, I noticed as a priest that using magic against them to end the fight is a bad idea as they will either auto-full heal and no surrender dialogue option appears, and it also attracts aggro from surrounding guards again with or without the surrender dialogue option. The best way to avoid this glitch from happening is to end the fight with a melee attack from yourself and your companions. Gradual damage from insect swarm especially causes this glitch to happen. The only way to progress would be to restore the game to the point before you kill the Sheriff, or to use the console command to resurrect the Sheriff and try to start dialogue option if he is still aggroing you. Starting a dialogue conversation may sometimes break the aggro glitch.

But he killed the Sheriff XD.
I hope he has got a previous savegame, before Sheriff bug/kill.

Thanks for the tip. Actually, i've no saves before the death of the Sheriff Contemburry. I'll try to resurrect him tonight with the console command and hope that it works.
