This may be a silly question, but the UI and control scheme mess with my head.

So I assigned the Divine Strike of the paladin to a quickslot. When I press the key and then right click, the cursor changes into an animation and I cannot seem to target anything with it. To lose that animated cursor, I actually select another quickslot and fire up another skill cause otherwise I cannot even walk.

(I can probably press escape as well, come to think of it, cause I was stuck in a chest interface that I couldn't get out of either and escape closed it...)

So anyone know how that skill work? :)

Did you try using right-click after choosing the skill? I used some of the runes/sigils or whatever they are that way.
Yeah, as I said, when I activate it and then right click, the cursor changes from the hand to an animated cursor that shows an arm punching a body.

But I cannot seem to target an enemy with it.
If I understand it correctly, and I might not since I have played Paladin quite some time ago, you use it, click on an opponent, and you get a damage boost with a stamina penalty. And yes, you can only turn it 'off' using escape.
Hm. Okay. So it doesn't indicate that it's active on that particular enemy? And it only then works on that one enemy? For one hit or till he's dead?

I'll try it out and see if it makes a difference :) Cheers!
Quite frankly I have no idea, I've just tried creating a palading and using the skill on an enemy and it ... Eh ... Seems to have a higher damage output. Do you need to have the skill activated all that time, or only when clicking the enemy? How to tell whether it actually works? I do not know! Yeah, the game's got incredibly confusing UI at time, with the worst bit being the 'drop' button in inventory - you'd think you should drop items by dragging them onto the button, but instead when you click it 2x, the item disappears into the void. Even quest items and items you can't destroy. What the fuck? (you actually use it by clicking it and then clicking items you wish to drop)

Crap. Apologies. I thought you'd written that you left clicked.
No problem mate. I guess I was expecting too much of the skill. The only effect is seems to have, is a sound effect being played. Maybe it improves or becomes clearer as I level up or put points in it.
