In the game manual on page 7 it states: "The game will automatically
try to identify and set an optimal game configuration based on your hardware equipment. Once the opening video sequence (that you can skip any time by pressing the space key) ends, make sure that this setting matches the real performance of your PC or change it manually to the appropriate settings."

I'm not quite sure what configuration they're referring to, since the only thing that I've seen that you can actually adjust is the resolution. Is this what they're talking about above? I would love to have more possibilities to adjust the graphics, but I don't see that as an option anywhere, not even the .ini file. Can anyone please confirm this?

I think you're right, it's only about the resolution, as there's nothing else to configure.
It's probably only that. In the ini file there's a bunch of other files that I tested and none give better performance, either it statys the same or you get worse. However, I immediately turned off motion blur as I don't like it so you could try that one if you want to see a different effect (you didn't specify if you wanted performance or better image quality).

As a rule of thumbs in tweaking video games, optimal/default settings usually has the worst performance / IQ ratio so tweaking makes more sense if you want to get the best of the game but considering resolution it's only thing you might as well settle for native as long as your computer can handle it or reduce it to as low as you deem acceptable.
I'd like to know this, too.
