To be completely honest, Im liking the challenging nature of the game. I have to actually search for fights that my melee paladin can win. Instead of every other game where I romp around the place like king.

I do have a question though, I noticed that once my skills got to lvl 5, it took 2 points to reach that level. Is that supposed to happen? And if so, how am I supposed to balance my skill points? Should I just still focus on a few select skills and does this go to 3 or even 4 points per skill later on?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, the points required per skill level do go up each time you reach a new mastery level threshold. I pretty much just focused on a couple skills, rather than try to level them all equally.

yes when you skill lv over 15 each lv up may spend u 4-5 point
if you a priest you will good in magic but not melee
if you a theif you good in arrow
if you a knight you magic skill lv limit is 10

if you upgrade too many magic resistance your physical resistance will be low
like me my one highest magic resistance is 90 but my physical resistance is 14
i suggest you balance it and take a page of potion and backup armor

ps.
the skill of finding hidden door, track, things i suggest you don't spend any skill point on it
even your skill lv is 20 there are too many hidden door & things won't show you
