Hopefully we will see some mods come out that will help fix things like being able to scale the UI to higher resolutions. And one that helps with the animations as well. Hopefully we see one that will let us compare what we have on to things int he shop for the spots that we have equipment. Have seen some of that within some videos and some of that should of been in game to begin with.
I don't think the UI is any issue at all. I play on a 23" monitor at 1920x1080 and I have no issues with the icons. Also, I doubt that animations will be that easy to fix for this game and I doubt this game, considering its issues and niché, will gain that much of attention or a community to happen anytime soon but you never know.

Aside from the memory leak so you have to restart once in a while I must say the rest of issues I've found are very minor but might just be me.
I don't care about UI or animations but a balancing mod could make this game to a real masterpiece.
I did a quick search, don't seem to be any mods available. Pity, the framework sounds good but too many flaws . . .
The game's far too recent for that I think.
as for balancing, its only rough in the beginning. I have 90% resistance to all forms of damage with 450 hp and everything became so much easier :) Had to spend a few hours going through pages of merchant stock to find the divine invulnerability pieces to make it happen, but i finally capped it out at lvl 35 and i haven't quite finished act 2 yet

I have to disagree. As far as I know this game was released three years ago but in Czech version.
Well, a quick look at the installation files for the game suggests that this game isn't really "made for modding." I mean, the game data is all in .dat files, which would be fine if it was like Torchlight, but you can't simply open them in a text editor (assuming you pick one with a small file size). I mean, I'm not that experienced when it comes to modding, so I can only really compare to the Torchlight .dat files and a few others, and say it seems that these .dat files are encoded. Even then, I don't see any file names that obviously suggest they contain game statistics, for example.
Game is utterly unplayable.

Until there's at least a UI mod to make the game manageable at high resolutions, or at best a mod that fixes the TERRIBLE translation, I'm not gonna bother. Easily the worst game I've bought off GOG.
I really don't see how it is unplayable. Yes it's very very tough at times but far from unplayable.
The translation is not always perfect but I think overall pretty well considering the amount of text there is.
I admit that you need a large amount of determination to finish this old school RPG, which not everyone is capable of, but to me it was totally worth the 'hassle' and I can easily say this is one of the BEST titles I got here on gog.

what would be enough for me is some kind of bigger font for dialogues, i have to squint or lean back to my monitor to read them properly =)
I just wish for a patch... This game has very serious bugs to be fixed... but mods are always welcome.
Wow, it seems like everyone either loves or hates this game. I'm finding it pretty fun myself.

But yeah, bigger fonts would be very nice. I may have overlooked the key, but an option to sort your bag would help too.
playing with paladin is way more difficult than with a priest, the game at act 3 is very unbalanced, you cant kill 4 werewolf even when you are max level with your paladin.
So definitely a patch to balance the game itself will be nice

Using quickbmps I've extracted every .DAT in the game, the problems are I don't know how to create again the .DAT and the fact I can't find where the spells and its scripts are located (since it was my goal, mod some spells to create more summon spells)
