Hello,

I began the game, created a priest. But I think I made a mistake putting points in dexterity. I want to battle with spells, but It would be good if I could fight in close combat if I loose all of my magic points. I should have put these points in strength to have some kind of warrior/wizard. Or to constitution to have a big wizard tank.

Is there a way to change distribute again my character points?

I already hear the "start again" advice but It took me hours to investigate in the town.

What do you think to have points in strength or constitution for a priest ? Is there a better way to use this points ? I usually put my new points, half in magic, half in constitution. But I fear that all this points in dexterity was an error. But maybe it's not a problem after all...

I attach my character sheet.

Don't hesitate to give me your advice concerning my character. If there is no way to change it and that he is shitty, I'll start again. But it looks like a big loss of time!

I'm being killed by most of monsters. I found a clue where one of the missing characters is but what I'm supposed to do against all those trolls. ^^

I don't know if it's just that it's too soon for me to go there or if my character is shitty.
There is no need to start again, unless you started the game at a difficulty other than hard.

The amount of points you have put in your attributes is not a significant factor in whether you will be able to win any battle. Rather, your choice of weapons/spells and availability of potions and companions will be the major deciding factor in winning battles. As such, if you play the game at hard difficulty, all rare items (items in blue coloured font) and unique items (items in yellow coloured font) will occasionally have this rare attribute to give you bonuses in all attributes (Of divine power) and by saving and loading game many times, you can generate sets of equipment that have this rare attribute that gives you considerably more attribute points than leveling your character ever would.

Alternatively, there is always the console command to add infinite amount of attribute points to max out all your attributes if you know how to do it.

At your current level you described, adding points into strength and dexterity is not a problem, as you will need the strength and dexterity initially to reach the Disciple rank in Armour Use, Melee Combat and Ranged Combat to use chain mails, flails and longbows which are the highest tier of equipment you can use as a priest. Your current attribute point distribution is fine. Once you reach the Disciple rank in the listed skills, put points into Speed, Constitution and Intelligence until maxed out before going to max either Strength or Dexterity. Through leveling, you should be able to max up to four attributes by the time the game ends.
Thank you for this answer !

Yesterday I began a new character, a warrior. It seems much easier because I can concentrate on some characteristics and skills easily to become stronger. But I imagine that a priest would be much cool to play at a higher level.

And I as you say found an item that add points to most of my skills, which seems very powerful to me (equals to a great number of levels).

Yep. Later in the game, the situation is inverted. Being a priest is much better.
