I would like to ask you guys if its a bug or a mechanic in the game. After some time of playing i've noticed lost skill points... I've lost like 1 point in melee and 3 in holy protection. Also at least one time before i've also lost another point in melee or armor use. So is there some skill that one of the monsters have that make me lose my skills or is it a bug? Can i fix it somehow? Should i use the cheats to fix it? I relly dont like the idea of losing skills because of a bug.

In fact, there are a few monsters that do decrease skill or attribute points permanently, such as vampire Herbertius down in the tomb at Hillbrandt's Cemetery. You can either learn to live with your loss, load an older save before it happened and try to prevent it this time, or you can also add your lost points with cheats, of course.

I think i did observe my dog losing a huge part of its max hitpoints and it seems permanently, fighting against some monsters...

I'm not sure if they ever lost hitpoints for good, but Hugo did definitely take a big hit on his Intelligence at one point. I don't remember who we were fighting though.
