I'm a 28th Level Inquisitor Priest but the three pagan ancient ghost from the unclean statue just turn me to cinders within a blink of an eye.
Why can't I have those spells?
Why do my spells always fail, while they just waltz through my characters entrails?

Maybe at Start I clicked somewhere else but I wanted to play on EASY, that can't be easy, I even haven't had the time to quaff any of my 204912321 potions of miraculous health.
I even asked a genie for help but he was obliterated as well.

Seems the pagan dieties are far stronger than the stupid faith I'm worshipping...

I really try to like this game but this really really sucks big time, this and the fact that they haven't let me torture Linda in ACT I after all I have been through...

The three ancient ghosts are really hard to kill. I think I used three or four genies at the same time to do the job.
I succesfully killed them at last,
Equipment Skill boost to Magic of Miracles 19 and running like benny hill around the statue...

First.. sorry for the slight bump :D

The way I did this was too open it up then they say they're going to kill me blah blah blah.
So, I ran for the stones on the left. Then ran back to the execution place and let the guards and
everyone there deal with them. While I just shot arrows at them.
Unfortunately the Friedrich guy got killed so I can't complete that miniquest.
But, ah well.
Unfortunately for the strength that they have you only get 50EXP. And no special goodies. For shame!
But that's how I got around it.

It left 7 NPC's dead (Friedrich and 2 guards, but the guards respawn. Friedrich does not.)
Same issues here, it's madness. Just goes by in a blur.

I had another player help me with this... you pretty much HAVE to spam vidergo seals REALLY FAST. And a few of your companions will likely die anyway, so have the Raise Dead spell available. I was able to get by even not being a magic heavy character due to the availability of +1 magic items floating around (they stack). Also, lightning resist helps, but on "easy" you don't get much in terms of resistance.

As a note, EASY doesn't mean what it does in every other game. Apparently here it just affects the stats on the loot received... it actually seems to gimp you, rather than reducing the HP of enemies. The people that've finished the game mainly played on normal or hard. I don't "get" the developers' intent, it's as if they were trying to emulate Diablo game modes.
The spell Exile that can banish undead gave me a 50% shot of banishing them in one go (priest lvl38, skill Magic of True Faith at 11). With Bless it should be more depending on the level, I usually get a 20% boost with bless. Exile seems overpowered really, since it can even banish undead bosses but I'm not complaining, it saved me a lot of hassle with those tough red cape skeletons and annoying ghosts.

But the real problem is living long enough to use any spell... I had to use my party members as bait while I escaped long enough to cast teleport to my last holy ground not far away, and then I used banish and it was over pretty quickly. I don't really get this quest, it's a minor quest with no real rewards and yet it's also by far the toughest fight I've had yet.
I spammed them with the strongest seal I head (that hits all of them) and ran around the stone like a maniac... and I was level 32. Had to fire my followers as they would just perish in an instant.

They are hard! It took me two genies to beat them.
