I am trying to follow the walkthrough by Zeranix found here.

PROBLEM: The section Grand Duke's Gabezo, Stealing Letters, says I can go to Alvaron after burning Cardinal Truncquillius (at the stake).

Did that, as well as all other prisoners. Alvaron is not on the World Map.

What is missing? Tried talking to Welhar after all trials were done.

What else is there to do?

But it should have appeared there. According to the script, the Northwest part of Alvaron should become available on the World Map at the moment Judge Welfhar tells you to ignite the stake with Cardinal Truncquillius. Check your Journal, if you have a note there saying "The time has come for me to make for the capital of the Realm, Alvaron...", Alvaron should be available on the map. It's to the southwest from Glatzburg.

Your correct Alvaron NW is on the World Map, lower-left.
