If you're talking about the Duke, arresting him doesn't help me at all -he just shares the cell with Francessca instead of moving her to another cell.

If you're talking about Christian, he dies rather than go to jail.

I really hope I don't have to start a new game because of this. Seriously all that separates me from actually talking to her is one door that I can see through.

Killed him and took his diary. I've also killed everyone in the torture chamber a couple times, you know just to be sure.

Who decides whether a thread is solved yet anyway? Is it the OP or a mod or what?

I decided that it is solved. My question, at least parts 1 and 2, was answered. Yes, it's a bug. No, it's not a missed step in questing.

Oh, and yes, I'm screwed and I know it. it's impossible to open the cell door and killing Franceska accomplishes nothing. I also tried to stuff some people in prison, hoping that they would switch cells, but Franceska stays in middle cell anyway. So, unless someone knows a cool exploit to walk through walls or something, we can't do anything till it's patched... and I'm pretty sure it won't be patched, at least anytime soon.

We may speculate a little bit more if you want, but basically it's pretty pointless now IMO.

What a pain, I don't want to start a new game over one small glitch. I posted the problem on the Inquisitor website, so I guess I'll wait until someone replies. I'll put the answer here if I get one.
