I love Inquisitor very much but there are a few flaws in the interface and the playability. What I usually do if that happens to a game, is trying to improve the game by adding shortcuts (using Autohotkey) and other tweaks. Often this is just simply adding a few extra hotkeys for operating the mouse with the keyboard because I prefer to use the mouse only for pointing (not clicking). Sometimes I just love a game so much that I create whole Autohotkey scripts to improve the playability dramatically. INQUISITOR is such a game and I created a script that does things like this:

Start game together with screen grabbers (SnagIT or FRAPS), screenshot viewer (on my secondary monitor), close them when the game closes. Type text (think NPC names, places in the game etc.) while you are IN THE GAME and put it on the clipboard so you can google it later. Loads of shortkeys that will remap the standard game keys. Cheats, yes, this is a game that needs cheating, so hotkeys for getting potions (and also take away some gold) and opening the world map from any place and more. Shortkeys to enhance playbility that will click on things: flipping pages or navigating tabbed dialogs (inventory, spells) or - my favorite - repair ALL gear with one hotkey. Speedhack: hotkeys to pause, slowdown, speed up the game. Finally, but a very, very nice one: press hotkeys (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0) to select dialog options as most RPGs do....

That's a summary of my script. Now my question is: do YOU love to play Inquisitor and are you interested in a script like this? Would YOU like to see a detailed tutorial on how to create such a script? I would like to make a step by step guide that would show you how to deal with hotkeys, pixels (and shades), mouse handling, reading and updating memory directly (to cheat), registry, processes etc.

I am asking because I usually try to find older games (like Inquisitor) so I only want to do this if there is some interest...

This sounds very interesting so, if it's not too complicated, count me in as interested.
I am just interested in the story and would like to skip the awful combat altogether
