Kill the Orc Chieftan Rashgkar #1 - Given by the Sheriff
The Sheriff in town asks you to bring him the Orc Chieftans head. The Orc Chieftan is located on the bottom level of the Iron Mines. Kill him, loot his head from his corpse and return it to the Sheriff to complete the quest.
Gosh, that's a hint or a tip at best. A walkthrough does exactly what it says, it walks you through a quest. You could have mentioned what the player has to expect, that the mines have gazillion levels with multiple groups of light, medium, heavy and shaman orcs. The locations of the keys to the different gates and possible secret passageways. The locations of the major characters and possible unique items.

Also is there any way to change the weapons and armor on the other party members, or to give them individual commands?

I don't know about items (I wish I knew or it was possible) but commands are, from the manual:
Allow/Forbit the party to drink potions: D
Party command: Attack! A
Party command: Cease fire! F
Party command: Hold positions! G
Party command: Attack the target! Z
Party command: Help me! X

As far as I know you can't change (quite annoying) but it's probably possible to change via macro applications.
In the map you call the Paladin companion Horatio, his name is actually Hugo. Otherwise, great map!
I'm kind of stuck at the end of act 1. I brought Lady Callahan (?) back from the mines and also freed bishop Quentinus (?). He examined the body, I accused Lady Callahan of heresy and took her to prison but coudn't torture her. So I went of to kill Herbertius, the only other thing left to do. When I cam back Lady Callahan was in front of her house, so I talked to her again. I got exactly the same dialoge options I had in the mine (take me back to my husband etc.) so I took her to priosn again.

I have read in another thread that there would be any dialog option to make her confess but I didn't see anything. Anyways, shes now back in prison and I don't know what to do. I talked to everybody, no new dialog options and She doesnt come out, too. I wen to a different location and let some hours pass but she is still in prison.

What can I do?

BTW: the description of "Kill the Orc Chieftan Rashgkar #1" is wrong, this quest is not given by the Sherrif but by the guy upstairs in the house north of the well/market square.

Something seems to be broken, because she was to confess when you meet her in front of her house after her short imprisonment. Now go and try speaking with her husband - this usually frees her from the prison immediately. If there's no such dialog option, try reloading the save before her first imprisonment.

The guy's name is Weinberg, you're right.
Pls can anyone help me? I stuck in this game and i'm really enjoying playing it. I talked to every one in town and in the other places but no has more to tell me.
1 - i have the monstrance of st.orthenius but don't know what to do with it
2 - i have the body of the dead girl which i grabbed from the pebtagram and don't know what to do with it either
3 - i have the hilt and the blade of the dagger
4 - i have lots of troll biles
5 - in the mines, i'm stuck in the second level. Can't get past the bridge and i don't have the levitation spell and my magic of miracles skill is only 3
6 - i talked to the tree of death and killed all the skeletons that came out of it and on the ground there are loose rocks that when you move the mouse ponter on it, it shows you that you can open it but can't and when i order my party members to attack it, they won't go. Why is that?
7 - in Asherbalt, in the orc camp, there is a portal which i can't enter. Why?
Pls someone help me or provide me with a walktrough. Thanks a lot. I'm new here. I've just subscribed today to this site.
there're hidden passage in the mine for the case you don't have levitation spell.
if you don't know what to do with monstrance, then you probably spoke not with everyone.
Ok i got the leviation spell ( had to cheat ) & i got past the chasm but now i'm stuck again. There's a gate & i can hear orcs snoring. Can't open the door :(
then destroy the door...

I think you actually need to find the secret passage in order to progress. Near the entrance, if i remember correctly, should be a branch in the dungeon: one heading down to the bridge and the other heading diagonally up and to the right to two square chambers. In the larger of these (the one without the chest) is the secret passage. It's a triangular looking pillar that is pretty indistinguishable from the wall in the lowest corner of the room. If you have a high perception skill it will be highlighted, which helps when finding it (if you are a priest you can use the skills Light and Insight to give you a boost - as you really don't want to waste your points on perception).

You need to go through this passage to find some strange women who lives in a cave in an orc infested mine for absolutely no reason. She gives you the mine key, which gets you through the door. I have to say that this game desperately needs a walkthough - as there are many frustrating and obscure sections like this that make very little sense.

With the body of the dead girl, you can show it to the apothecary/witch and she says something that you will already have worked out. Apparently the girl's body was ued for a satanic rite (no sh*t!).
You can return the monstrance to the bishop dude (Valarian? - not sure about the name). Can't help you get further with these two bits as I haven't got that far yet - sorry.

This is off the top of my head so I apologise for any mistakes + lack of screenshots. Anyway I hope that helps a little :)
i think you do want to spend points on perception since it's one of the skills than you can advance in to master pretty soon in the game and shows you not only hidden stuff but especially traps

If you are a priest then you can buff perception by buffing your magic skills instead. Similar to how you can just upgrade your Inquisitorial Magic skill and use the spell Sixth Sense to identify items instead of wasting points on identify. This is actually a huge balance issue. Particularly as Inquisitorial Magic also has the spell Light, which gives you better perception, and Open Wounds - pretty much the best pure damage spell in the early part of the game. So for a priest there really is no reason to spend any points on perception or identification as Inq. Magic will do it all, as well as providing your most consistent source of damage. I can't testify to this myself, but one person mentioned that, upon testing it, the abilities given from Inq. Magic actually outstrip those of ordinary identification even without considering the fact that you have to spend far fewer skill points. Go figure. Having just cleared all the areas in Act 1 I can say that there have been no objects or traps I haven't been able to id or spot immediately with 0 points in either perception or identification.
you may be right. just tested light and it doesn't increase my perception at all, so it's possible that it improves the ability to find traps without any real feedback so it might well be that it just shows you everything there is as if you were master of perception. had to restart my priest game after i found out about identification spell identifying everything and now i think i'll have to restart my thief because of perception -.- nice job devs
How do i open the locked chest in king harlior's room? Even the dog & my other companion won't attack the chest.
