I have heard the developers are considering a Linux version down the road. Just wanted to say this would be an instant purchase for me if you did port Inner Chains to Linux.

They basically are required to do a Linux version, and honestly the linux port should have been ready alongside the PC version. I kickstarted the project SOLELY on the condition that Inner Chains would have a Linux version, and I was assured by the developers themselves that if a certain stretch goal was met, they would do a Linux version. The stretch goal was indeed met, so they are bound to make the game Linux-compatible. If they do not do it, they owe me my money back.

I hadn't known about the stretch goal. Honestly if it was me I would already be asking for a refund. It should have been either at launch or at the very least a set date for it.
I can't even run this garbage in Windows 7 because the UE4 prerequisites REQUIRE 7 SP1, which refuses to install, apparently because Wangblows isn't installed to the first partition of the disk. I don't trust Wangblows to not wipe or mess with my Linux partitions if I reinstalled, and it looks like I'd have to shuffle everything around anyway to make Wangblows happy by installing it to the first partition and then reconfigure my real OS and bootloader just to make some bullshit Unreal Engine components happy, just to play the damn game.

I don't have the energy for that. Linux version when? This game is a useless purchase to me so far.
