The official game page for IG 2 is partly still available on wayback
machine. Many of the maps stored there are included in the new game
release by Toplitz Productions. But some files are missing in their
version.
I have packed these missing maps (all of them with German description)
here.
As an alternative you can download the complete map repository of
the former Jowood forums (many of the files with English description)
on inkinkinc.co.uk:

Die offizielle Seite des Spiels ist teilweise auf wayback machine

Note:
If the description of a self-designed map is displayed somehow distorted
in the game, you have to save the txt-file in Unicode character set.

Merke:
Wenn die Beschreibung einer selbst erstellten Karte im Spiel nicht
korrekt dargestellt wird, muss man die txt-Datei im Unicode-Zeichensatz
speichern.

- Extract the zip-file
- Copy the extracted files to Industry Giant 2\maps
- Choose the map in Endless menu

- Die zip-Datei entpacken
- Die entpackten Dateien nach Industry Giant 2\maps kopieren
- Wähle die Karte ingame unter Endlosspiel aus
