If you have a glitchy cursor that pops to the corner of the screen whenever you move it:

Check out this link, solved it for me.

Basically overwrite the files in the "scummvm" folder inside your game folder with the newer version in the post (bottom of page 1), updating it to v2.1. You can get the newer files from the ScummVM install folder once you install it, just copy them.

Delete the old SDL.dll and use the newer SDL2.dll that comes with the newer version.

Once this is done, you should be able to launch the game normally and it will use the updated ScummVM. Another advantage is that you can set the graphics to OpenGL and fullscreen with correct aspect ratio. This really helps :)
