I'm doing the training missions but can't complete the shooty one because my weapons won't damage the targets.

Any ideas?
From what I know was that modern systems play this game with a too high framerate which messes up certain things.
You can try to limit the framerate by forcing v-sync on within your videodrivers or use a framelimiter like that used in MSI Afterburner.
If it's the first game you can also turn on v-sync in the nGlide controlpanel.

Thanks!

Afterburner works a treat!
Could somebody explain how to do this like I'm 5? I'm presently running GOG's version of I-War 1 under Wine in lubuntu 14.10.
