Hey there,

I'm not able to find the previous x52 thread ("Oh noes" message) and I was wondering if anyone has managed to get the lateral thrusters to a POV control? I'm trying to get them on JoyPov2 in defaults.ini however I've had no luck.

KarlI think I've figured it out. IW2 only seems to support 1 hatswitch. JoyPOV1. Which is used for the menu.

Might try get the menu (or thusters) to the little mouse stick thing.

KarlOk... This seemed to edit my post... testing...

I'm not able to create a new post here. It automatically edits my original post. I'm explaining this just so I don't look like a dork :)

I also have a X52 and the only way you'll be able to link the 2nd hat to thrusters is opening the Saitek profile editor, create a profile for IW2 and set the POVhat 2 to act as buttons so you may after that assign the keys from IW2 default.ini that correspond to the thrusters to each "buttons" of your hat.

I'm using POVhat 3 for the thrusters but POVHat 2 works the same.
Suppose it's a bit late.

But there is way to get I-War2 to use X-52, without resorting to Saitek Configurator (i hate that program).

On the old Atari Forum, one of the members had written this Ini reader. It would read the Configuration INI file that I-War2 uses, and let you recreate a new Control Profile.

Application is called EOCKeyBinder. It is rather dumb application. so you need to have Your DirectX Joystick Config panel open while using it. So you can map properly. And it will take few trial and errors to see. And you have to keep quitting the game to making changes to INI.

You can download the application from
