Hi guys,

Both I-War 1 and 2 were working fine on my creaky old PC until my son decided to remove them off the HD without uninstalling them - he just sent the files to the recycling bin and deleted them. Ever since then, every time I try to reinstall the games they both hang after the intro videos. Is there any fix to this?

P.S. When it was running, the font in I-War 1 was blurry (I have the same issue in Anachronox). Any suggestions there too would be very gratefully received :).

Hmmm... finally looked again at the problem. Turns out the I-War 2 issue was solvable and similar to previous problems mentioned on the board; I managed to fix it simply by running the IW2EoCGS.exe file in Win 2000 compatibility mode, and running that exe directly. No luck with the blender probs with IW1 yet, but I will keep looking and trying different stuff.

EDIT: A few hours later, and I-War 1's working too. Here I removed n-glide and replaced it with the older Zeckensack's glidewrapper, and it works fine. Font's still blurry though, but I'm happy enough to play the game again!
