What resolution do you want to play at, I know for a fact it supports 1080p.

Hi Darrosquall, I belive that if you enable DirectX 8 for I-War 2, the LOD levels are increased and stuff is less prone to popping up suddenly. However, Ravenger rejected this saying that DX 8 was never fully implemented in this game. That being said, it doesn't hurt to try, provided that you absolutely save the file "flux.ini" before even thinking about tampering with it.

Other than that, there are several mods on i-war.com, but they mostly serve to improve gameplay or immersion (like the Better Tugs mod that adds thruster sounds, if I remember correctly). Also, please bear in mind that the game has ages *very* well and is far from an eyesore even today. Did you have a look at the several Let's Plays that are available on YouTube?
