I decided to rebuy I-wars 2 couple of days ago because it was one of my favorite games of all time. I have played that game over and over and pretty much recall all the missions except the one that they added/fixed. Those side mission like trading uncut gemstone or finding food for a feast.

I find myself with one of those side mission called excavation, where the MCA ask to go "liberate" some mining equipment from a Solan station. Unlike the other mission where a ship or something was around there isn't anything related to that mission whenever you show up at that particular station.

I was wondering if someone knew what action were require to complete said mission.

It's been a few months ago, but I remember you had to fly to a spacestation in the Santa Romera system (a waypoint should be in the contacts list, can't remember what it is called).
Once arrived there should be a freigther (don't remember its name), it carries one cargo pod with the goods you need. Shoot the freighter until it releases the pod, dock with the pod and fly to the rendevous (I think it is The Ritz), there you will see a blue contact, fly to it and undock with the pod, wait until the blue contact has retrieved the pod and you should have accomplished the mission.

I hope the transport remains near the station and didn't wander off. I am pretty sure I scanned everything but again I might have overlooked something.

As soon as I fix the custom Jafs mod that crash my game each time I launch in space ill go have a better look around that station.

You were right, it took 10minutes for that transport to show up though but whatever.
