I do not have a joystick at the moment but i do have wired Xbox 360 controller.
Can you play I-War with that?
If yes, what are default controls and can you modify those in anyway (before someone suggests the keybind.ini, i have no idea if (or how) it can modify joystick/controller buttons)?

Hi there!

I've been trying to configure a 360 controller here, but without much success so far.

You can edit the .ini files in the config folder by hand using notepad or use this software made by some guy a long time ago.
http://www.i-war2.com/downloads/EOC_KeyBinder.exe

So far, the controller is recognized and I can bind all the keys except for the right axis. If you wanna have a try, please post your results over here!

Cheers!

OK I just had great sucess with an app called motioninjoy. I am however using a PS3 controller but I believe it allows for an XBOX 360 controller as well. It basically allows you to map any keyboard command to a function of the controller. I have the left thumbstick for thrust/yaw and the right for control in pitch and roll.

The only problem is that the controls aren't analogue in the true sense. They just allow you to map the keyboard number pad to the stick.

I wish the app allowed you to mimic a joystick but it just doesn't seem to have that feature.
